New Office/Outlook Utilities

Some fellow MVPs have recently released new software that is worth taking a look at:

RibbonCustomizer Professional V0.9 (by Patrick Schmid, OneNote MVP) allows you to – yes you CAN do this now – customize the Ribbon in Office 2007.  You are no longer stuck with just customizing the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) and can add whatever buttons you choose to various Tabs in the Ribbons throughout all of the “ribbonized” Office 2007 applications.

Outlook 2007 Free/Busy FTP Publisher is a much needed utility (by Helmut Obertanner, Visual Studio Tools for Office MVP) to allow users to share their appointment availability with anybody else over the Internet by storing their Free/Busy data on an FTP server that they may have access to (which is a must for Free/Busy sharing since Microsoft stopped hosting this data themselves a while back).
