Outlook programming speaking engagement in Sweden

Yours truly has been invited to speak at the SharePoint & Exchange Forum 2007 conference near Stockholm, Sweden on May 14-15.  I’ll be doing two Outlook programming sessions:

  • What’s New In Outlook 2007 for Developers
  • Outlook 2007 Developers Deep Dive

The conference site is here, but it’s in Swedish only:

There is also a good blurb about it on Gustaf’s blog:

Note that he has me listed as “Outlook MVP and author, USA”.  I won’t call myself a true author until I do something other than write magazine/website articles or tech editing books (I’ve done Sue Mosher’s upcoming Outlook 2007 programming book, and a MOSS 2007 book that may not see the light of day), but that’s okay, as long as nobody thinks I’m American – I’m Canadian eh!

I’m looking forward to inhaling the scenery in Nynäshamn (where the conference will be) and canoodling with fellow MVPs and the friendly Swedish folk.  Sue Mosher spoke at this conference last year, and I’m stepping up on her behalf this time around.  I have some big shoes to fill!

I already have a game plan for introducing my sessions and breaking the ice – highlighting the historic links between the Winnipeg Jets and Sweden
